BNRC Mission
"We are working towards enriching the quality of community life in the city of Brampton, as it is experienced by individuals and families in a culturally diverse community. BNRC operates through the utilization of strong, proactive locally-based community support systems, leadership, programs and the provision of settlement services for newcomers to Canada."
BNRC Vision
Brampton Neighbourhood Resource Centre is committed to strengthening individuals and families in a safe, respectful, positive and inclusive environment. We facilitate this through programs, approaches and resources that enhance the development of the community and individuals.
BNRC Goals
To provide support and educational programs to individuals and families in a culturally sensitive environment.
To provide information and access to information.
To provide opportunities for individuals or families to participate in the community.
To assess community needs and to identify ways to meet those needs.
BNRC History
BNRC was established in 1988 by a group of Peel Social Service Representatives who were
interested in the identification and provision of programs formulated to meet the needs of
families in Brampton.
