LINC (Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada)

LINC is a language and settlement program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). Newcomers have many questions about life in Canada. LINC curriculum includes practical every day English, Canadian cultural awareness and Computer Assisted Language Learning outcomes. Students learn language skills needed to shop, access health care and education, use the telephone, find suitable housing, look for a job, and much more. The LINC program teaches students to communicate effectively in four key areas: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
