Early spring wildflowers (also known as spring ephemerals) race to bloom before the nearby trees leaf out. Their brief lifespan is part of what makes them so special - and easy to miss! Join us for a walk along the Old Mill Trail to catch these beautiful flowering plants before they are gone. This walk will be approximately 3 miles round trip, with little elevation gain. Our pace will be slow with lots of stopping along the way.

Difficulty: Easy/Moderate, 3 miles round trip (slow pace, some off-trail walking and unstable footing)

What to Bring: Please bring water, sturdy footwear, and layers.

Location:Old Mill Trail, Dalton

Hike Leader: Charlotte

Language: This hike will be led in English.
