On Wednesday April 23rd 2008, BNRC held its Annual Recognition Event at the prestigious Rotary Glen Banquet Hall which was kindly provided free of charge. The event was memorable for many, as it was the first time that all staff members were recognized for their dedication, commitment and contribution to BNRC at such an event. No one walked away empty handed as Board members, staff, volunteers and students received awards while some of them received special awards.

The evening began and ended with music provided by BNRC’s in-house DJ Duane Hall and guests were warmly welcomed by Louisa Orlando and Jeff Murphy. Certificates of appreciation were presented to all on arrival.

Sandra Balgobin and Nancy Kopriva chaired the proceedings which began with Malyka Wellington, a volunteer, singing the National Anthem and Dr Randy Neilson, a Board Member, doing the invocation.

All Board Members, staff, volunteers and students were called on stage to be recognized.
