Engage in Observation and Discovery at Wild Acres, Pittsfield
Summertime is filled with unique seasonal wonders and mysteries. Enjoy a self-guided exploration of this short trail and learn the how and why of summer phenomena. What’s the difference between a dragonfly and a damsel fly? What insects can you hear, and how do they produce those sounds? These are just a few of the questions you will learn the answers to. This interpretation is family-friendly. This trail is considered easy and stroller friendly.

The self-guided Easy Naturalist: Signs of Summer walk will be on display from Saturday, August 6 through Sunday, August 28 (dawn to dusk) at Wild Acres Park, Pittsfield.

Wild Acres – Trailhead
S Mountain Rd, Pittsfield, MA 01201
From Pittsfield: Take South Street. Turn right onto South Mountain Road. Look for trailhead on left in 1.3 miles.
