 April 22 is Earth Day

This year, BNRC was invited to join Give Back to the Land Day, which was founded by four Massachusetts land trusts.

The Give Back to the Land theme for 2021 is to make the new 30×30 national climate initiative a reality. This federal executive order calls for the conservation of at least 30 percent of the United States by 2030.

Will you join other BNRC supporters in making an Earth Day donation to fuel conservation in the Berkshires, and help with the 30×30 challenge?

DONATE TO BNRC

In Western and Central Massachusetts, we are fortunate that outstanding opportunities still exist to protect land and water in its natural state.

You can promote conservation in a lasting way. It is easy to donate to BNRC at bnrc.org/contribute.

And you can learn more about our partners for Give Back to the Land Day at givebacktotheland.org. These include the Franklin Land Trust, Hilltown Land Trust, Kestrel Land Trust, and Mount Grace Conservation Trust.

You’ll help preserve our region’s natural beauty, care for an important greenway that links the Hudson Valley to Northern New England, protect crucial wildlife habitat, and bolster climate resiliency.

And you’ll support the health of all who live, work, and play in this special region of the world by providing free public access to the 56 BNRC reserves across the Berkshires.

Thank you for all you do for the Berkshire outdoors, and best wishes to you on this Earth Day 2021. Hope to see you outside!
