PARSONS MARSH

Friday, April 21, 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Difficulty: Easy (slow pace, moderate elevation changes, easy off-trail walking)

Description: Join us for a guided tour of the proposed Parsons Marsh boardwalk! If BNRC is awarded funding from the Town of Lenox’s Community Preservation Act at Town Meeting on May 4, the public will have easy access to Parsons Marsh. Please join us for a walk to the edge of this stunning wetland and a brief discussion of the proposed trail and boardwalk project. Bring water, sturdy footwear (waterproof if possible), and a warm top layer.

Bonus: by the time we leave the marsh, American woodcock should be engaged in their famous, fantastic flight display.

Directions: From the center of Lenox Village, the intersection of Routes 7A and 183: west on Route 183/West Street for 1.4 miles to a right on Undermountain Road (opposite Tanglewood). 0.75 miles on Undermountain Road to the temporary BNRC trailhead on the right. Look for the BNRC sign.
