Explore the new accessible trail and bring your binoculars to look for migrating birds!

Description: Join BNRC and the Lenox Land Trust in exploring the new trail that winds you through an open meadow to a small pond on a crushed stone surface, then transitions to boardwalk through a forest and vegetated wetland. We’ll take a break at the observation platform and look for migrating birds.
From Lenox: From the center of Lenox, head south on Main St. Turn right at the 1st cross street onto MA-183 S/West St and follow for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Under Mountain Rd. The trailhead is 0.9 miles down the road on the right.
From Lee: Get on Route 20 heading north. After 3 miles turn left onto Walker Street and drive into Lenox. From the main drag in Lenox, turn left onto Cliffwood Street. Cliffwood becomes Undermountain Road, and the trailhead will be on your left in 1.3 miles.
From Great Barrington: Take Route 7 north into Stockbridge. In Stockbridge, turn left onto Route 102 and follow for 2 miles. Turn right onto Route 183 and follow until you reach Tanglewood. Across the street from Tanglewood, turn left onto Undermountain Road. The trailhead is 0.9 miles down the road on the right.
From Pittsfield: Take Route 7 south. After passing the Arcadian Shop, turn right onto Route 7A. After less than a mile, turn right onto Greenwood Street, then right again onto Cliffwood Street. Cliffwood becomes Undermountain Road, and the trailhead will be on your left in 1.3 miles.
