The Hoosac Range Trail is the northern most BNRC trail and runs along the easternmost crest of the Berkshires. The trail includes beautiful views to the west and a section that hugs a cliff face developed 550 million years ago. Part of the Mohican-Mohawk Trail that travels from the Hudson to the Connecticut River. The isolation of the trail makes it an excellent location to see signs of bobcats, bears, and raptors, if not the animals themselves. This hike contains some difficult stretches. Anticipate a hike of 2.5-3 hours.
