Join BNRC and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at BCC for this loop hike in New Marlborough. Rated easy, this hike is a loop around extensive wetlands. Part of BNRC’s largest reserve, the hike will introduce you to just one of the many trails you may want to return to explore especially in winter and spring. Although we may not see them, this reserve, surrounded by 5,000 acres of protected land, is home to beaver, otters, coyotes, and of course deer, bear, and many species of birds. The hike is approximately two hours.
This hike is part of a joint fall hike series. Hikes will take place on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month in September, October, and November. These hikes are free for OLLI and BNRC supporters. You must register in advance, and space is limited.
Registration will open on Monday, November 3 at 9 a.m.REGISTER HERE.
