BNRC to Host "Conservation Speed-Dating Workshop" for Local Landowners
BERKSHIRE COUNTY, MA — Berkshire Natural Resources Council (BNRC) will host a Conservation Speed-Dating Workshop on Friday, November 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Greylock Glen Outdoor Center in Adams, MA
The interactive session is designed to connect Berkshire County landowners directly with experienced land management professionals to discuss tailored strategies for land stewardship and uses a model developed by land conservation organizations in Virginia and Vermont.
The event utilizes a structured "speed-dating" format, giving participants rotating, 10-minute discussions with experts across various fields, including wildlife habitat management, sustainable forestry, and agricultural production. Attendees will leave the workshop with fresh ideas, valuable professional contacts, and actionable advice to care for their property.
"Whether landowners are looking to enhance wildlife habitat, improve forest health, or explore options for farming, land management planning can be overwhelming," said BNRC Land Conservation Projects Manager Johnny Robinson. "This workshop provides a quick, engaging way for landowners to get personalized feedback about their goals for their property from a wide range of experts, all in one place."
