Stockbridge

A path through the woods leads to a boardwalk with lovely views over Jackson Pond to Yokun Ridge. Birds galore in the intervening woods and wetlands.
This land, and all of the present-day Berkshires, are the ancestral homeland of the Mohican people, who were forcibly displaced to Wisconsin by European colonization. These lands continue to be of great significance to the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican Nation today. To learn more visit mohican.com.

DIRECTIONS
We recommend parking at the Stockbridge boat launch on the Stockbridge Bowl, as there is no designated parking area for the boardwalk. From there take a left on MA- 183 North and walk 400 feet before taking a right onto Old Colonial Road. Walk 1/4 of a mile and enter the trail at BNRC’s property sign.
