PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Morven Allen, the leaseholder on this farmland, welcomes walkers and hunters on the condition that they respect his crops and mind their manners. A visit here will be an intimate and pastoral experience. No marked trails, but if you pay attention on the way in, you’ll have no trouble finding your way out.

HISTORY

The Suter Farm comprises 152 acres, half of which are good, arable land. For as long as Berkshire Natural Resources Council has owned the Farm (since 1986), a local farmer has raised corn, alfalfa, or other silage for local cows. Currently the crops are organic and will become organic milk!
