The Suter Farm comprises 152 acres, half of which are good, arable land. For as long as Berkshire Natural Resources Council has owned the Farm (since 1986), a local farmer has raised corn, alfalfa, or other silage for local cows. Currently the crops are organic and will become organic milk!
Views are very pretty across the property and in winter, skiing around the fields is a real joy. With all the farms and corn grown in the area, the property is well-hunted, so wear orange.
Suter Farm lacks improved parking. For vehicles with higher clearance, parking is possible just off Brewer Hill Road at the unimproved farm road opposite 498 Brewer Hill Road, New Marlborough. No vehicles are allowed in the fields.
